a) If you are required to have an ATUE, failure to supply the exemption before a drug test is an anti-doping violation.
b) The NZSDA requires TUE applications to be submitted at least 21 days in advance of when they are needed.
c) Fencers must obtain a TUE from the FIE (regardless of whether the fencer previously has received a TUE at the national level) prior to their participation in any International Event.
d) Fencers participating in International Events must, except in emergency situations, request a TUE from the FIE no later than 21 days before the Athlete's participation at an International Event.
