FeNZFencing Mid South is proud to announce our 2011 Foil and Epee Champions. We thank all the fencers and clubs who participated and supported our 2011 regional foil and epee championship.

We present:
- The 2011 Fencing Mid-South Foil Champion - Hamish Clarke
- The 2011 Fencing Mid-South Epee Champion - Martin Brill

Foil – 9 fencers:
Mixed event, insufficient fencers to hold a separate Women’s Foil event. 3 fencers participated from Dunedin’s Claymore Swords Club.

The 2011 Mid South Epee & Foil Championships were not held last year due to extenuating circumstances.

The 2011 Mid-South Epee and Foil Championships are on - ENTER NOW

10 - 11 March 2012, at The fencing Institute, 91 Jack Hinton Drive, Christchurch


Veteran Epee, Veteran Foil Note: If sufficient entries received for a Veteran Event (6 required), these will be held immediately after the Open Championship in each weapon.
Veteran Category 30+, with Veteran rules applying (ie DE to 10 hits)

PROGRAMME:

Saturday 10 March, Epee
12:30    Registration
13:00    Start
Conditions: If less than six men or women in an event then event will combine for a mixed event. Format Poules then DE

16:30    Veteran Epee (minimum 6 entries required aged 30+)


Sunday 11 March, Foil
10:30 Registration
11:00 Start Time
Conditions:  If less than six men or women in an event then event will combine for a mixed event. Format Poules then DE
Equipment Requirements: Electric bibs on masks required

15:00    Veteran Foil (minimum 6 entries required aged 30+)

Entry Fee: $25 per event up to 4th March
Late entries accepted after 4th March late Entry Fee $30 (from Monday 5th March)
