2006-08-30 03:06 - New Proposal for FIE Referee Examinations - for 2007

InternationalFIE are proposing from 2007, the refereeing examinations (1 per year and per zone) will exclusively take place before the Zonal Championships (Asia/Oceania Zone - prior to Asian Champs) ;
b) The number of candidates will be determined according to candidatures but only 12 candidates per day will sit for the examination.
c) The candidates to the examinations are selected by the FIE, on the basis of one candidate per country and per weapon, among the list of candidates published on the FIE Internet website, menu Refereeing . This list includes the names of candidates, for which :
- the national federation sent to the FIE the form of candidature duly filled in ;
- the examination fee was paid.
d) The results of the refereeing examinations are submitted to the approval of the Refereeing Commission.
