The Executive Committee, at its meeting of 3 December 2004 in Paris (FRA), has taken the following decisions : a) the 2006 Veteran World Championships are scheduled to be held in Bath (GBR) from 1 to 3 September 2006. The 2007 Veteran World Championships are scheduled to be held in Sydney (AUS) from 4 to 7 October 2007. b) the next meeting of the Executive Committee is scheduled to hold on 14 January 2005 in Doha (QAT). c) the provisional affiliation of the Fencing Federation of Yemen (YEM) has been approved. d) the 2006 Senior World Championships of Turin (ITA) will take place during the 1st week of October. e) the Luxardo Trophy (Individual Men's Sabre) in Padoue (ITA) will be held from 20 to 21 May 2004 instead of 21 to 22 May 2005 because of problems related to the availability of the fencing halls. f) the Sportsmanship Trophy was attributed to the Chinese Fencing Federation for its exemplary behaviour during the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. g) the Executive Committee recognised the competence of the IOC Ethic Commission as well as the applicability of the IOC Code of Ethics.
