As of 11:59pm, Sunday 14 February, Auckland has moved to Alert Level 3 and the rest of New Zealand has moved to Alert Level 2 until at least 12 midnight, Wednesday 17 February.

In particular for Auckland - Alert Level 3 means primarily (but please read all the details on the COVID19 Alert website);
- All Fencing Clubs in Auckland will be closed until after at least midnight on Wednesday night.
- Work from home if you can
- Limit your movement
- A border around Auckland will be enforced at midnight
- Get tested if you have visited any of the locations of interest during the specified period and/or are showing any cold/flu/covid symptoms
- Be diligent with good hygiene practices - social distancing, sanitising, coughing into elbows and masking up in public places etc.
- SCAN, SCAN, SCAN for contact tracing - please lead the way in doing this and be vigilant! Become a ruthless scanning warrior!
- Future tournaments and events (e.g the W.Dawn scheduled for the 27th of Feb in Auckland) will continue as planned for the moment, but will be reassessed closer to the event.
We all know the drill. The next 24 - 48 hours will be critical for information gathering to determine whether further action will be required.
