Earlier this year the Board received a formal complaint about an incident involving Neil Young, Coach.
This complaint was referred to the Sport and Recreation Complaints and Mediation Service for independent Investigation.
The resultant Report was reviewed by a FeNZ Disciplinary Committee appointed in line with the FENZ Conduct Policy.
The unanimous decision of the Disciplinary Committee is that there has been a breach by Mr Young of rule 8.3.1 and 8.3.2 of the FENZ Constitution. Further, that there has been misconduct as defined under the Conduct Code.
The Disciplinary Committee has also decided that Mr Young’s membership of FENZ should be terminated. However, that the date of that termination should be taken from the date of suspension (13 February 2024).
