Fencing New Zealand (FeNZ) announces that the FeNZ Board has resolved to implement interim measures regarding Mr Sheldon Ogilvie, effective 16 September 2025.

Suspension Details
Mr Ogilvie is suspended from:
1. FeNZ related coaching activities
2. FeNZ Athletes' Commission position
3. Any official roles at FeNZ events
4. Attendance at FeNZ events which includes those run by national and regional committees (as per FeNZ constitution)
Process
This is an interim measure pending completion of FeNZ's complaint assessment processes under the Disputes, Complaints, Dispute Resolution and Raising Concerns Policy. The decision balances FeNZ's duty of care with procedural fairness requirements.
The Board has provided Mr Ogilvie with the right to seek a review of the suspension terms.
