The Board of Fencing New Zealand is monitoring the fast-moving Covid-19 situation daily and it will continue to publish these advisory notices as required.
Covid-19 Update 12th March 2020 – Oceania Under 20’s and Handshaking Rule Temporarily Suspended
The Fencing New Zealand Board continues to monitor the global and local Covid-19 situation and has formed a sub-committee to specifically focus on the issue.
Fencing New Zealand is monitoring the global Coronavirus situation and working closely with the FIE and Asian Fencing Confederation (AFC).
As we know the Asian Cadet and Juniors has been postponed and it is very likely the Senior Championships, due to be held in South Korea next month, will also be postponed.
The first national competition of 2020 - the NZ U15 and Cadet Championships will take place 25th to 27th April in Wellington.
