Earlier this year the Board received a formal complaint about an incident involving Neil Young, Coach.

The selectors would like to thank everyone who attended last weekend’s National Cadet and u15 events, as well as the u20 Challenge events. Over the four days, the selectors observed many performances and were impressed by the strong attendance and efforts during the individual and team events. This gave you some more team experience and gave us a chance to view how each of you integrates with teams and handles different pressure situations.

We are looking for a Manager and Coaches (Epee and Foil) to look after our fencers at the Australian Cadet and Youth Championships.

Enrico Garozzo has contacted us about a new academy programme that he is starting in Italy. This would suit high performance Epee fencers who are at University or about to go to University as there is an opportunity to study in Milan.

Nominations are now open for the Australian Youth and Cadet Championships, which takes place in Sydney 6th to 10th July.
