Fencing NZ has updated its Code of Conduct for Officials and is available here.
Officials should be aware that their approach to officiating can influence participants' experience and enjoyment of the sport, including the impact on other Officials.
Nominations are called for Fencers and Coaches/Managers wishing to be selected for the Australian Cadet and Youth Championships, Sydney - 11th July to 15th July. Nominations close Saturday 26th April.
The Selectors’ Commission are a group of senior experienced fencers who consistently put a lot of work in throughout the year in the background to pick athletes and teams to attend the highest profile overseas competitions to represent New Zealand.
National Juniors hosted by Fencing South, is taking place in Dunedin over the weekend of 12th and 13th April.

Introduction
Fencing New Zealand (FeNZ) is an affiliated member of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) who are recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the world governing body of fencing and are responsible for establishing the rules. There are a total of 156 affiliated member Federations.
The FIE has announced that the organisation of the 2025 Veteran World Championships was awarded to the Fencing Federation of Bahrain.
The 2025 Veteran World Championships will be held in the city of Manama (BRN) on the following dates: 3-11 October 2025. Further information will be made available as it is provided.
